U.S. stocks were indicated to open lower Wednesday as index futures fell in premarket trading following reports the February headline consumer price index rose 0.4%, while core CPI, which excludes food and energy prices, rose 0.2%; and the fourth-quarter current account deficit fell to $132.8 billion from $140.4 billion in the third quarter.
